Summary		 This Compliance function is responsible for monitoring and ensuring organizational compliance with federal and state laws, regulations and various programs requirements.  It works closely with various departments of the organization to analyze and evaluate financial and other information to identify existing or potential problems; develop and implement compliance and performance improvement plans.
Responsibilities
  • Acts as project manager on an on-going basis
  • Acts as a lead worker (e.g., coaches, coordinates others' work, acts as project leader)
  • Oversee all compliance matters as related to technology and lead all aspects of the global Compliance Automation project.
  • Work with the Technology organization as well as regional peers within compliance organization to prepare for any upcoming and potential audit and reviews. Conduct periodic Compliance reviews
  • Become a source of solutions
  • Support INFO security and Senior Management related activities.
  • Act as a Project Manager for any Compliance Organization technological tools, including maintaining Compliance web site

    Experience
    Required
    • Prior experience in compliance function of a financial institution and related to the field of technology
    • The ability to understand and continuously upgrade one's knowledge in both compliance and technology
    • A self-starter with excellent presentation and influence skills
    • An apparent dedication and responsibility for the compliance and technology functions 
    • The ability to use independent judgment and to manage and impart confidential information
    • Capacity to work in a highly matrix global environment with a variety of cultures, approaches, etc. in play
    • 7 to 10 years of relevant experience
    • Strong academics
    Complexity of
    Function    		 The complexity of the job function results from the complex global and highly matrixed nature of the organization.  Understanding of a broad range of technology platforms, security concerns, and solutions (Internet, system development, data centers, distributed computing, networking).
